Organic Training After Greenhouse

For two years we have been developing trainings that will help facilitate organic workers as they pursue the kingdom within the context of their community. We are working on making these trainings available to churches and church networks in simple and reproducible formats.

Have you noticed that a lot of the really great training materials out there originated within an actual movement of God? Our natural inclination (it seems) is to then take what God has done, package it, and ship it out to everyone…so they can do it to.

These modules take a different approach. These are simple and reproducible trainings designed to enhance – not replace - what God is doing where you live right now. They will help your church family keep their focus on Jesus’ mission and purpose. They will help your church keep its focus – that it is a spiritual family and not a religious organization. And, perhaps most importantly, these modules will encourage you!

Monthly Greenhouse Gatherings: Implementation

Let’s say you have a group of Jesus followers who are living a missional life in their present communities. They’ve been through a weekend-training – like Greenhouse Story 1 or Organic Church University. What’s next?

We recommend a monthly gathering that emphasizes food, encouragement, prayer and training. Get together monthly. Gather up everyone on a night they can meet, have a meal, and NOCN can provide you with materials that will equip you to continue on this journey together. These gatherings are to “bless” what God is doing, not tax his followers of time and resources. They are crucial opportunities for sharing and encouragement.
